Day 1

Arusha-to-Tarangire. Safari begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park. a park well known for its huge herds of elephant and buffalo. A hot spot for big cats, lion, cheetah and leopard. Your driver/guide is an experienced wildlife expert whose knowledge and ability to spot the animals and birds will astound you. Afternoon, you will enjoy game drive in Tarangire Park. Dinner and Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge (L, D)

Day 2

Tarangire-to-Ngorongoro. A breathtaking drive, a long one too, destination - your lodge in Ngorongoro conservation area. Arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy the view and surroundings of your lodge. Dinner and Overnight: - Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 3

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact caldera (collapsed volcano). Descend the 2,000 feet into the crater on board a safe and purpose build 4-wheel drive vehicle for a full day safari. Over 30,000 animals live within this enormous natural bowl, the most densely packed concentration of wildlife in Africa. You should see wildebeest, elephant, lion, and warthog, whilst on the lakeside there are pelican, ibis and flamingo. Late afternoon return to the lodge. Dinner and Overnight: - Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 4

Ngorongoro-to-Serengeti.  Descending form the Ngorongoro crater to the plains of the Serengeti. A lovely drive, game spotting all the way. Get to see how the Maasai live side-by-side with all the wonderful beasts - lions- buffalo. en-route, visit the Olduvai Gorge (Optional), where Professor Louis Leakey discovered some of the earliest evidence of human existence in the 1950s. Continue to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and Overnight: - Serengeti Serena Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 5

In the magnificent Serengeti. The Maasai word Serengeti means ‘endless plains’, a perfect description of this ginormous area of over 6,000 square miles. Home & haven to all the beasts you wish to see. Dinner and Overnight: - Serengeti Serena Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 6

Serengeti-to-lake Manyara.  Set off to to Lake Manyara, spot the largest hornbills (black&white), mahogany forest hundreds of years old and the most unusual lion behavior of all, lions sleeping on trees!! Manyara's famous tree climbing lions. Dinner and Overnight: - Manyara Serena Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 7

Manyara-to- Arusha After breakfast you will drive to Arusha for lunch (B, L)
